Atuntaqui is the smallest canton in Imbabura.It’s between Otavalo and Ibarra, this city is located ten minutes from each of them. Atuntaqui is located at 2500 meters at sea level.
Atuntaqui is interesting for many reasons:
• First:Its landscape, you can get a great view of Imbabura volcano, its parks, commercials, marketsand people, climate and much more.
• Second: its people, you can visit allthe places that
people offer such as commercial centers, grocery stores, parks and you can verify the amiability, courtesy and cheerfulness of “Anteños”, For example they can help you to encounter some places.
• Third: a lot of tourists visit Atuntaqui for its historic places as the old factory; it’s the most importantplace to visit.In Atuntaqui, you can also visit the countryside.
• Fourth: Atuntaqui is recognized for its production 
of clothes because here you can find a lot of
styles and designs of clothes.
No mentioning the beauty and amazing treetsand its food.
“Fritada” which is the most important dish of this city.
In conclusion: Atuntaqui is one good place to enjoy.
