MY HOMETOWN AS ATOURIST SPOT

ANA CALDERÒN

Ibarra is a small city to the north of Ecuador. It’s the capital of province of Imbabura.

Ibarra is interesting for many aspects.

· First, it’s geography. This climate

is tempered dried. The city has

an extension of about 2,225m.

· Second, it’s history. Because in

Ibarra took place many battles

but the most important

was the fight of for the liberty of slaves.

· Third, it’s a good place because

it has diverse mountains where you

can relax. There are also

diverse animals, I mean diverse nature.

· Fourth, Ibarra is rich for its typical foods and pastries for example, corns, beans, quinua, mellocos, chochos, geese and others. And in pastry they are tadicional ice cream parl on blackberry syrup, the nogadas ara also tradicional sweets, dark-haired Patty and coffee.

IN CONCLUSION

Ibarra is very important for me,

because it offers the tourist a diversity

that not all the cities in Ecuador have.
